Contradance Family Fun

We're taking the summer off and will resume Friday October 7th.

Meanwhile, you can contra dance all summer out on the Palouse
at the Old Blaine School House.


August 27: Contra Dance and Pie Extravaganza with music by the Floating Crowbar and calling by Emily Faulkner, at the Old Blaine Schoolhouse, Potluck at 6:30 and dancing at 7:30 PM.

You can find a map to the schoolhouse at our website, palousefolk.org, or in one of our newsletters in the bin on the Moscow Coop bulletin board.

Beginner? No problem- Arrive at 7:30 and there are free lessons.

No Partner? No worry. There are lots of dancers - many would like to dance with you. All dances are taught. Singles, families & beginners are always welcome.

Free dance lessons at 7:30, 8-10:30 Dance Admission: $6 for members, $8 for non-members and $5 for first time beginners

Sept 17: Contra Dance with music by Out of the Wood and calling by Nora Scott at the 1912 Center, 7:30 PM.

Sept 8: House Concert with the Woolly Breeches in the Attic at 314 East 2nd St, 7 PM.

Sept 20: House Concert with Dorian Michael in the Attic at 314 East 2nd St, 7 PM.

 

Back here in Clarkston, we will resume "First Friday" contra dances
at the Twin City Square and Round Dance Center on October 7th.
